Raining Sunday

What a rainy Sunday we are having! I decided to turn the living "upside down" and we made a cave to play under today! At least the boys are excited about it and having fun even though they are stuck inside!

My Mom's new blog

I'd like to welcome my mom into the world of blogging. She is a crafter at heart and can make or do ANYTHING. I talked her into starting a blog so she can share all the wonder things she creates. I'm not kidding when I say she can do anything....she sews, quilts, embroiders, crochets, scrapbooks, occasionally creates cards (it's been awhile for the last too - hint, hint mom!!) And I'm sure there are other things I'm forgetting to. But she can do it all! Please check on her blog to see these CRAZY "green" bags she has been crocheting!! They are made from Target bags...also made some from Lowes shopping bags. Here blog has more pictures.

Graduation Samples

This is just a quick post. I created these 3 sample Graduation invitations for a client of mine to choose from. I used my Cuttlebug on the first card on the maroon layer. (I also just type something out real quick for the invitation wording on the first one just so my client can get an idea of what it would look like - of course it will not go out like that!)

On the other two cards I used my Cricut to cut out the 2008 with the Opposite Attracts cartidge.

The graduation hat stamp (Year after Year) and the You're Invited stamp (Hugs & Wishes) is from Stampin'Up!

Thanks for looking :)

Cuppacakeabella Gift Bag

I just finished "wrapping" the gift for the birthday party. I thought the bag came out cute. I used the opposite side of the Designer Series paper from Stampin'Up! Then cut a straight line on the crease of the card and slipped it over the handles. I was just excited I had matching tissue paper! :)

Cuppacakeabella

My 3 year old son is going to a birthday party tomorrow for a little girl who is turning 3 too (and is just as precious as the bella sitting on the cupcake!) I used Stampin'Up!'s Watercolor Pencils and a blender pen to color my bella. You might not be able to see, but I also added Iridescent Ice (Stampin'up! embossing powder) to the cupcake and the spots on the bella's dress to add some sparkle. This bella is called Cuppacakeabella from Stamping Bella. The ribbon is also from Stampin'Up! it is the Flirty collections (but I believe it is retired already - sorry.) The pattern paper is the from the Designer Series of Stampin'Up called Loves Me (it was from a mini catalog I think.) Thanks for looking and have a good evening! :) My pizza & Hubby are waiting -----> It is my "free" night. Free of absorbing any calories! I wish haha.

RetailFellaBella

This would be a great Fairy Tale ending to a Saturday at the Galleria! This is another great stamp setcalled RetailFellaBella from the Stamping Bellas. These little stamps are addicting! I have been using my Stampin'Up! Markers to color in these images. My markers are getting a little warn in though and the tips are not as sharp anymore. I would love to get the Copics....but....we will just have to see.

P.S. Happy Birthday Lori!

Ipodabella

Here are two cards I did with the Ipodabella from Stamping Bella. The silly thing is...I don't even have an Ipod, but I thought my Husband would get a kick out of the Rockstar saying. I used the faux embossing technique with the Stampin'Up! small star punch. Then used the large Stampin'Up! punch to punch out the word "Rockstar". I used the White Uni-Ball Signo pen to create the faux stitching on the star.

The "You Rock" is from the Essential Sentiments from My Favorite Things.

Thanks for looking!

SellaBella

My Mother-In-Law is a Realtor, so when I saw this stamp I thought of her and had to get it :) It called Sellabella from Stamping Bella.

Here is a card I did for a couple renewing their wedding vows on their 25th Anniversary. I used Stampin'Up!'s Together Forever set. The background design is embossed with my Cuttlebug and Cuttlebug folder Swirls.

Welcome to the World of Bellas!

Well, I finally "travel" outside the world of Stampin'Up! and purchased some new stamps. I posted a stamps set from My Favorite Things earlier. Now, I'm introducing the Bellas! These girls are adorable and I can't help but fall in love with all the cute stamps. The company is called Stamping Bella! Take a look, I'm sure you will fall in love with them too! This was my first Bella card I created! I just love her!

I just finished making this card and gift bag for a little boys birthday. My son LOVED the dinosaur, so I had to get it. I stamped the bag with the Stegosaurus stamp...it is too cute with the packages on his back! The stamp set is called Dino-mite from a company called My Favorite Things.
