Need a Favor?

Do you ever need the perfect party favor or small gift to give to a friend, teacher, or co-worker letting them know you are thankful for them?

Here are several projects where you can do just that. We will be decorating all the projects mentioned below with just one sheet of 12x12 paper and a few other scraps for accents.

We will be making the following:
A notebook
Small Gift Basket
Coordinating Pen
Small Round Favor Container
Matching Card

I'll provided everything if you will just bring your favorite adhesive.

Project Night fee is $10.00 (Due when you get to the party)

If you order $30.00 or more Friday night you will be entered in a drawing to win one of the selected stamp sets.

*Project colors may vary depending on the 12x12 designer paper you choose. I'll have several sets available for you go choose from.*

My New Bellas

My new Bellas from StampinBella.com came in a couple days ago! I can't wait to use my new Prismacolor pencils on these cuties..(fellas too). But I will have to wait a little long. I am in the process of completing a Scrapbook album for a new client. In fact, I better get back to work and get off the computer.

Creative Money

I've decided to try something new with my blog, and I'm excited about this new opportunity. A friend of mine mentioned getting paid to blog. I was not sure what she was talking about, but after talking more to her about it and doing some research on my own I decided to give it a try. (I mean really....have you seen the amount of ribbon I own? And I love getting more- I've got to make money to continue my addiction.) At least I can admit it.....

Well instead of doing 12 Step Program to break my addiction of buying ribbon and stamps. I joined up with PayPerPost.com.----> blog network <----- My friend that I had mentioned above said that she has made between $15 - $30 a day! Wow! I thought I had to give it a try and see how it works. So, wish me luck. If you want to join and add this to your blog you can click on the PayPerPost referral logo on the left hand side. So far signing up has been very easy and I'm looking forward to a great relationship with PayPerPost. I've also learned how to do a few computer tricks while watching PayPerPost Video tutorials. Like the screen shot above of their website.

Mother's Day Gift from Mom!

As I have posted before....My mom can create anything!!! check out her blog to view the GORGEOUS necklaces she crocheted for me.....YES....I said crocheted! Did you know you can crochet wire? CLICK HERE ---> Susan Sews <-----

She made me 4 different ones. Take a look at her blog

Prismacolor Pencils

A Mother's Day Gift to me. I got the 120 Prismacolor Pencils. I'm really excited about them. I'm really new with "coloring - in" stamps like the Bellas and My Favorite Things stamps, but I'm excited about learning how to shade and color with the pencils. I was told by several people that the pencils are alot more 'forgiving' of errors than the markers (Prismacolors and Copics). So, I thought I would practice with these until I perfect my coloring before (and if) I invest in the Copic Markers.

My husband also bought me this cute purse while we were on vacation. It is from a cute boutique name J Roberts. I love it...the inside lining is brown and tan pokadots :)

Huggybella Card

I just love this card! I used Huggybella from Stamping Bella. The brown ribbon is retired from Stampin'Up!'s Ribbon Originals Flirty Collection. The paper is also SU!'s Loves Me Designer Series paper. I used my Nestabilities to create the oval and scallopped oval. I got my Nestabilities 40% off from the website http://www.cutathome.com/. If you sign up for their newsletter you can get a 40% coupon every month! This card is larger because I had a long letter I wanted to write to someone special. It is a 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper folded in half. I used the Stampers Select white cardstock from Papertrey Ink it is great for coloring in your Bellas and as a THICK card base. You will not have any more cards that can't stand up because of all your favorite embellishments. I also used my SU! watercolor pencils to color in "my girls". Thanks for looking.

Mother's Day Gifts

I finally get to post this. For Mother's Day I created a Hodge Podge Gift Basket for the Mom's in our family (I also made a set for a friend that had us over for a Crawfish Boil.) I've been waiting until after Mother's Day so my mom would not see what she is getting.

The baskets were round tins from Target $1 spot, I added pictures my 3 year old colored, a wooden magnetic frame that he also colored, a "green" Target bag that zips up like a wallet size, and a set of momogramed cards like these. (I forgot to take a picture of the tins before I gave them out...woops)

The background of the cards are embossed with Cuttlebug folders, the paper is from Stampin'Up! Designer Series. The round, round scallop, and square punches are from Stampinup!, the scallopped square was cut from my Cricut (the Mini Monogram Cartridge). The ribbon and alphabet is also from Stampin'Up! (Lovely Letters Alphabet). These were SUPER easy to make. I made 6 sets of 5 (30 cards) and matching envies in about 3.5 hours. Once I figured out how I wanted them to look it was a breeze! I even made a set for me!
